Fansly Cryptocurrency: 2026 Updates That Will Make Creators Money
A few quiet changes that could meaningfully shift how you earn, connect, and protect your work.
Fansly just dropped their April newsletter, and tucked inside the pink merch drops and memes are some genuinely useful platform updates. Here's what's new — and how to actually use it.
1. Fans.ly is Dead
This one is urgent. If you don’t fix this, you’re literally losing traffic (and money) every day.
Fansly confirmed that fans.ly links are no longer active If you're still using fans.ly links anywhere — your Instagram bio, Linktree, Beacons, Twitter, TikTok, anywhere — those links no longer work. Anyone clicking them is hitting a dead end.
The correct URL format is now fansly.com/yourusername. Same page, different domain.
Where to check:
Instagram bio and story highlights
Linktree, Beacons, or any link-in-bio tool
Twitter / X pinned posts or bio
TikTok bio
Any Reddit posts, forums, or community threads you've shared
Your website, if applicable

2. Run your Fansly like a Clip Store
One of the biggest shifts: Instead of relying only on subscriptions, you can now structure your content like a storefront. That means:
Individual purchases of content
Tiered Content Pricing
Better opportunities for repeat buyers
That means that if you've been selling content on a separate clip site, such as ManyVids or Clips4Sale, Fansly is making a case for consolidating everything in one place.
The appeal here is real: fewer platforms means fewer logins, fewer payout sources to keep track of, a single analytics view, and an easier way to funnel first time watchers into long term fans. If you're already generating a Fansly following, it may be worth migrating your clip catalog there and cutting out other middlemen.
What to do:

If you're currently splitting your audience between Fansly and other clip sites, evaluate whether consolidating makes sense for your pricing model.
3. Fans can now Pay with Crypto
Fansly now supports cryptocurrency deposits into the Fansly Wallet, with live conversion rates and real-time status updates. For creators, this means your fans have one more frictionless way to add funds — particularly fans who prefer not to use a credit card for privacy, international buyers, or who have crypto sitting idle.
You don't need to do anything on your end for this to work. It's a fan-side deposit feature, so any subscriber who wants to pay via crypto can now do so, and the funds land in your wallet the same way they always have.
4. Blocking Actually Works Now
Previously, blocking was… weird.
Now: If you block someone (or they block you), you can’t see each other’s profiles at all.
Makes sense!
5. More Easily get Time-Wasters out of your Inbox.
Fansly now lets you set price-per-message as low as $0.01 (down from $1).
And you can customize it based on:
Subscribers
Followers
Non-followers
This gives you more control over your time by deterring low-intent users from bothering you. Everyone can spare a penny unless they have a personal limit about spending on SW.
Creator Strategy Tip
A $0.01–$0.05 fee for non-subscribers doesn't deter real fans — it filters out the people who were never going to buy anything anyway. Think of it as a soft qualifier for your attention.
How to Maximize your Success and Profit
