Scared you’ll ruin the surprise?
You can’t wait for your boudoir session, and you especially can’t wait to give your photos to that hottie of yours. It’s going to be so much fun to see the look on their face (especially when they have know idea what’s coming) – but oh god, are you stressed because so bad at keeping secrets?!
It’s harder to keep a secret when you’re this hyped. Fortunately for you, I’m a great secret keeper, and since I’ve been doing boudoir photoshoots for so long I know all of the little things that might tip them off as to what’s in store. Here are some things you can do to keep your boudoir session a secret.

UPDATE OUR NAME IN YOUR PHONE
Don't just write “Earthly Venus” as your boudoir photographers contact! Just your photographer's first name will be more discrete.

SCHEDULE Mindfully
Plan your boudoir session session and relevant calls for when your partner is at work, or another regularly scheduled activity.

Plan Your Ride
Your baby may want to give you a ride, but don't let them -- the location may be a dead giveaway of your boudoir session. Try calling a ride-share, taking the subway, or driving yourself.
PICK A LIE TO EXPLAIN WHERE YOU’RE GOING
If you can get to and from your session without getting caught you don’t need to say a thing, but if you live with your bae it can be super sus to slip away and say nothing. It’s good to have something you can talk about to casually explain your boudoir session without raising other questions.
VERIFY Discreet Delivery
Ask your boudoir photographer about discreet packaging, and be mindful that large wall art purchases may stand out in the mail even if the packaging is discreet.
HIDE Your Gifts safely
Even large photographs and boudoir albums hide well in closets and under beds. Be sure that wherever you keep your photos that it’s a dry place that doesn’t get too hot or too cold; this will prevent your images from getting damaged in storage.
